What GPixel credits represent
Credits are an internal service unit used by GPixel accounts. They are not a bank deposit or independent currency. The customer balance and every purchase, transfer, reservation, capture, release, or refund are recorded by the server.
The server confirms the current service price
Public Models & Prices information helps with planning, but availability and effective price can vary by supported model, service configuration, account, and current server policy. Review the final connected-device quote before authorizing work.
The credit lifecycle for an operation
- 1
Quote: the desktop requests current availability and price for the connected device.
- 2
Reservation: the server may temporarily reserve the required credits when work starts.
- 3
Capture: credits are captured after the operation reaches the required verified success state.
- 4
Release: reserved credits should return when work fails, is stopped, expires, or cannot be verified.
- 5
Refund: an authorized administrator can record a compensating refund after review.
Ways credits can reach an account
- A protected purchase through the official Buy Credits workflow.
- Delivery from an active verified reseller.
- An authorized administrative adjustment with an audit record.
- A release or refund related to an earlier operation.
Use account history to reconcile a balance
Keep the customer-safe purchase, transfer, transaction, and operation references. If the displayed balance does not match an expected outcome, contact support with those references and the approximate time. Do not send passwords, payment secrets, or unrelated device data.
A failed operation should not look successful
A progress display alone is not a verified completion. If work fails, is stopped, or cannot be verified, the operation status and credit outcome should remain reviewable in customer history.
Clear answers
Frequently asked questions
Do GPixel credits expire?⌄
The account ledger is the source of truth for the current balance and any applicable policy. Review the current terms or contact support for an account-specific question.
What happens to reserved credits if an operation is cancelled?⌄
A cancelled, failed, expired, or unverified operation should release its reservation rather than capture it. If a stale reservation remains, contact support with the customer-safe operation reference.
Plan authorized service work
Check the connected device before processing
Public guidance helps with planning. The GPixel desktop performs the final model, software, availability, and price check.
