Credit reservation, capture, release, and refund policy
GPixel records credit movements as immutable ledger entries. Corrections are compensating entries; the original transaction remains available for audit.
Before an operation
The server calculates the current effective price and may reserve that amount. A reservation reduces available credits but is not a completed capture.
Successful completion
Credits are captured only after the operation reports the required verified success state. A 100% progress display without verified success is not sufficient.
Failed, stopped, or abandoned work
When a workflow fails, is stopped, the app closes, the job expires, or verification does not complete, reserved credits should be released. If a stale reservation remains, contact support with the operation reference for reconciliation.
Refund review
Captured credits may be refunded by an authorized administrator after reviewing the operation and reason. The operation, customer portal, credit history, and desktop history should display the refunded state. A refund does not erase the original operation or capture.
